On the left is the "wrecker" train, in the middle is the ramp for handling piggyback trailers and flats "circus" style and on the right are cars used by the Roadway Department
Title:  On the left is the "wrecker" train, in the middle is the ramp for handling piggyback trailers and flats "circus" style and on the right are cars used by the Roadway Department
Description:  As Manchester Yard transitioned after the opening of Rice Yard in Waycross, Georgia, all of the equipment and track in this photo slowly vanished. For years, a couple of the old box cars on the right remained for storage and use by the Roadway Department, but those cars, too, eventually left the property.
