Atlantic Coast Line Railroad train order #313 establishing CTC operation between Pelham and Parkwood, Alabama issued to northward trains originating
Sections of the Lineville Subdivision began to receive CTC in the mid 1950's, however, the entire subdivision wasn't CTC controlled until May 1, 1966 as evidenced by this train order. My grandfather, H. R. Feltman, copied this train order and issued it to the Lineville - Birmingham northbound daily local train #508. At this time, train orders on the Lineville Subdivision were issued over the initials of "RLL", Superintendent R. L. Lightfoot who was based in Manchester, Georgia.
