The crew of the Wadley Turn (trains 588 & 587 based in Manchester, Georgia) is building its train for the run back to the home terminal. The crew has gotten permission from the Atlanta based train dispatcher to use the south siding switch in "hand-throw"
When 587 departs Wadley, the pulpwood cars on the right will be on the head-end of its train. The loaded pulpwood cars are about to be classified and the ones destined for Coosa Pines will be left here for northbound 320 to pick up later in the day. The southbound loads will be taken by 587 back to Manchester for forwarding to the various papermills located in Brunswick, Port St. Joe, Palatka, Panama City and elsewhere.
