This is how my grandfather's desk looked like for most of his 40+ years at the depot          
The telegraph key and sounder (with the upside down, empty Prince Albert can) sat where the thermos is located. Between the two windows on the far right is one of train order hoops used at Lineville. The depot wasn't air conditioned until the mid 1970's as evidenced by the shiny conduit just above the thermos

David Barrentine General Very cool Bernie! I believe I would have to put this in a frame and hang it, if it were my grandfather's. I'm sure it stirs up a lot of memories, and would be a nice conversation piece as well. We see a lot of photo's of locomotives etc., but pictures like these are just as interesting if not more interesting than the trains....at least to me they are.
